NARESH MENGHRAJ GEHI
Senior Attorney & FounderNaresh Gehi is an immigration attorney licensed to practice law in the Eastern and Southern District of New York and in the State of Connecticut. He is also admitted to the Court of Appeals. He is the founder-partner of Gehi & Associates. Naresh holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Georgia and was employed by former administrative judge, Jeffrey M. Gottlieb, Esq., for approximately six years. During his employment with Mr. Gottlieb, Atty. Gehi learned the art of dealing with complicated immigration cases, including H-1Bs, Labor Certifications, I-140s, I-485s, deportation proceedings and family-based petitions. Additionally, Atty. Gehi maintains an active trial practice, specializing in arguing complex deportation cases. One of Atty. Gehi’s most arduous cases involved a client whose name and birth date matched that of a suspected terrorist. Mr. Gehi won the case against the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which led to the client successfully obtaining a green card. Attorney Gehi is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is very active with AILA’s corporate committee.

SURYIA SURYIA RAHMAN, ESQ,
AttorneySuryia Rahman is an attorney admitted to the New York State Bar. She practices immigration and matrimonial law, and also handles general litigation matters. She has a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Florida. While in law school, she was competitively selected to be a member and editor for the Florida Journal of International Law. Her coursework focused on immigration law and she conducted extensive legal research on asylum law. Suryia participated in a domestic violence clinic at the University of Florida and represented victims of domestic violence in family law and immigration related matters. Suryia is a native Bengali speaker.

Her experience includes interning for a business immigration firm, the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office, WABC-TV/Channel 7, and the Sikh Coalition. Committed to the cause of human rights, in Law School she was awarded the Public Service Honor Roll for about 300 hours of community service work. She speaks Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
