Biofilter Media

The use of a bio filtration system that is 100% organic is a beneficial, cost effective way in alleviating odor pollution while being environmentally responsible. Our Bio filter media product is an odor abatement strategy that is comprised of a diverse culture of organic matter making this not only an effective, but efficient solution to mitigate these problems.

Grinding

Sittler operates several mobile tub grinding units which serve to manufacture many different size mulch products, with many uses. Land clearing materials, yard trimmings and leaves can be reduced to produce mulch products. Sittler has many years experience in providing custom tub grinding services and currently has municipal contracts as well as private contractors as clients. We work on long-term contracts or one time lump sum and unit priced contracts.

Screening

Sittler has mobile screening capabilities that can be used to deal with a wide variety of sizes of materials. Sittler has the experience and equipment to find a solution for you. As with our mulching operations, our screening operation travels from Fort Erie to Timmins and from Ottawa to Windsor. We are able to screen your compost or supply tub grinding, to your specifications.

Wood Waste Removal

Taking down some old trees and stumps, or renovating your house? All that wood that you can`t use just keeps piling up. Load it up in a truck or trailer and for a only a per load drop off fee we will happily take it off your hands.From 2x4's to logs, stumps and brush, we take it all!

About

Since 1991, Sittler has been providing tub grinding services to both the public and private sectors, with grinding services, from Timmins to Fort Erie and Windsor to Ottawa.

We will grind to many different sizes. Our equipment is equipped with cross belt magnetic separators, removing the ferrous contaminates.For construction wood and demolition material which are collected in landfills, we produce a course mulch size of product to be used on site.

We are self sufficient on site, and our experienced crews come with large equipment to make the job look easy.

Our filtration media is made up of several different types of wood types making it a green solution; with no harmful chemicals and no combustion source making our final product benign and safe for all industries big or small.
For construction wood and demolition material which are collected in landfills, we provide a course grind size product. As well as size and volume reduction, this product will become more compact, spreadable, and ultimately can be used as an Alternative Daily Cover (ADC).
We manufacture and supply various sizes of bio filter media products for different sized bio filter beds and air flow requirements. Our product is used to decrease and alleviate the air pollution that occurs through the process of organic matter decomposition.
